About the project:

Adapted from the short story by Ernest White II and inspired by true events, Pull is an unconventional love story between two gay men pulled in different directions by professional obligations, family ties, cultural and societal expectations, and the desires of their hearts. Unfulfilled in their current lives in Ottawa, pediatric surgeon Eric Nair and blue collar, would-be novelist Antonio Woods lock eyes at a coffee shop, both instantly unnerved and afraid to speak to the other. From that day forward, the two men begin to feel strange sensations in their chests and become obsessed with thoughts of each other. They dream of each other and see aspects of each other in themselves as their lives transform, guided by signs and synchronicities. Ultimately, they'll need to follow that energetic pull to reunite.

Why Pull Matters:
“Every human being needs to know that they are not only capable of love, but worthy of it. Pull is a dreamscape of possibility, of passion, of love between two men who have only ever settled for what they thought they were worth. Pull captures the moment a connection becomes a catalyst for profound personal evolution, shifting from a mere encounter into a force that demands we become our truest selves. It is a tribute to the kind of love that empowers us to break old patterns and finally embrace the expansive, joyful life we’ve always been afraid to step into. Successful films like Moonlight and Red, White & Royal Blue, plus series like Heated Rivalry show that modern audiences cheer for original stories featuring two men in love, joining Past Lives, Serendipity, and the Before... trilogy among the enduring films about the power of destiny. Pull embodies the light between lovers that everyone deserves to experience. Surrender to the pull.”
